back in sydney!!

yep yep, melbourne was ok... it's a nice city, but doesn't suit me.. maybe cos we went around pretty aimlessly..
somethings that i noticed: pigeons are (way) fatter and aren't scared of people
the roads are cleaner and wider
for some reason, i feel less short there
at night it's scary..
there's art everywhere

first day. went around the city on the free tram 'city circle' and stopped at docklands, which is basically a building site due to be finished in 2015 and it has a playground.. so we played around
walked around, ate at a viet restaurant 'mekong' which is for some reason famous with the stars.. on the window, it says "bill clinton had two bowls, how many will you have?" (talking about their pho) and inside there's a photo of this old chinese kungfu actor guy with jackie chan and others that i don't recognise..

the food wasn't that good, and i ordered the bihun with chicken and spring roll thing, and the vermicelli was as big as the bowl, which is like a very large piggy bank!! omg, so i just finished the top..

then walk walk walk to bourke st and various malls, oh btw our room - apartment sorta thing - has 1 queen, 2 double and a sofa bed which is supposed to fit two.. but, we hv 9 people! hehe so 2 on queen, 1 on each single, 2 on the sofa bed and 3 on the quilt on the floor... the quilt was SUPER soft though, and smooth : D more comfy than the bed lol
i found 'genki'!! hehe the shop with the cute stuff that i always see in magazines, and it has stuff with characters from the craft book that i got from kino! hehe but nothing especially of good use, so didn't get..

also went to the market and into this pet supply store on the way there, and they had the smallest/cutest/cheapest rabbits and guinea pigs i've ever seen!! waaaa so smallllll and the ears were so shorttt but there was a horny male guinea pig that just ruins the cuteness filling the cage..

at night, went to eat to celebrate mami and papi's anniversary! in this jap restaurant, which looks good, and got a pretty good rating in the melbourne food guide, but the service was soooooooooooooo(x.infinity) slow!! and when the food came, either we finished it straight away, or it took so long that our hunger passed..

next day, used the non-free tram to chapel st... cc oni and mama shopped, but not me, as all the stuff was too 'mature' or not my style... as in no funny/cute t-shirts : ( but went to 'fuji mart' which is like tokyo mart, and got this pen thing with crayon pencil thing that u can change the colours..
there was a lot of organic fruits in melbourne...

then to bridge st, which is where the factory outlets are... once again, didn't find anything. had subway for lunch. at night, went to crown casino, and finally got a top! hehe and den went around, the parents went inside the casino (it was sooo crowded, everyone went there after the melbourne cup.... waste money they just won?) so me and cc oni wandered around... and found a galaxy world type place!! bule are really crap at DDR... gosh, cannot compare to indo! (cieh wat de o_O")

had dinner at the food court, and sat outside to wait for the fire display thing that is on every hour at night. so basically there's this tall square prism thing and fire shoots out at the top of it in intervals, and it starts little, but later it spurts fire so suddenly and for a quite long time! it was so bright, we got blinded and we could even feel it, it was pretty hot! haha oh and papi was recording it, but he got shocked by the noise, so he suddenly shook lol..

last day.
went to the melbourne art museum, even the building was really arty, as in the walls/stairs/ceiling..
and next to it was the "earth from above" exhibition like photographs of all over the world taken from the air, like an island shaped like a loveheart, or flocks of flamingos, bails of cotton, erosion on a side of a mountain vegetation etc... it was really amazing to look at

den went to the market, sorta like the rocks, and mama got this cd & tape of this guy playing the 'zither' which is this guitar/chinese string board instrument

blablablabla den ate at this ching yip-like place in china town and the plate was soooo big, but somehow i finished it..

something sad: there were 3 baby birds that fell onto the sidewalk and 2 of them got stepped on and their guts came out! they were so small, don't even have feathers yet... :"(
but also...
something funny to make the reader happy again: haha papi farted in the elevator before everyone (as in our group) came in... and we're like 'ihhh....' n den after a while and it started to smell, the elevator opened in another level and someone else came in!! hahahha lol and we're like ..oh ooh.. n we can see that they noticed the smell... n den the elevator just happens to make another stop, and so the bule couple says 'u don't wanna go in here' and the kakek's like 'it's a natural smell' den dey say 'there's nothing natural about that' hahahahaha lol... and i thought that the kakek's strong cologne or aftershave would drown out the smell, but it didn't!! and after a few second, it reached my corner... haiyah, it was pretty strong.
and we were all laughing and cracking up, and wen the elevator finally reached the lobby the people wanting to go in were like, 'there's something in that elevator, they all came out laughing' hahahaa omg..... hah.

yes.
before we went to the airport, i played the new super mario, and i found a secret exit and new levels!! yohoho!
alalallala this is a long post.
hehe yay i see biscotti and the pigs again! : D
