i saved a mouse!!! : )

yay!!! i saved a mouse that was gonna be eaten by phoebe!!
i was playing comp in cc cindy's room when i saw phoebe walking weird and lying down in the backyard... and after a while, biscotti came towards her, and den i saw phoebe pick up something... and it was obviously some animal that she's caught...

so i went out and after seeing me, she picks the mouse up and walks away, but den she drops it again and after shooing her and biscotti (who was interested, but never does anything to it... weird house-cat), i saw that it was still breathing (it was lying on its side)! i was surprised that phoebe didn't bite its neck or something..

i was thinking whether it's gonna die or not... and i even thought that i should 'end its pain'... but of course i can't kill the mouse, so i rushed to get a plastic bag and a paper towel (so it doesn't fall out from the slippery plastic wen i hold it) and den i tried to pick it up, but den it fell upright onto the grass, and it started trying to run away from me - very slowly, limping, cos the back right leg was broken - , and so i kept on trying to pick it up, until i did.. and (after being followed by curious biscotti), i let it free into the backyard of the house on the other side of our fence...
and so it went through the gap in the wooden fence... and after i pushed its tail, it went out of sight from the cat!! hehehe it was safe : D
i hope it'll recover and be able to find food..

this is the second time i saved something that phoebe tried to kill!! hehe for those that read my multiply blog, i saved a small bird!! and cos it was hard to pick up (it was SCREECHING very loudly at me, while lying on the grass), i walked behind it, trying to shoo it away from our backyard... and so it went out of our house, crossed the street and went to the safety of bruce's yard!! (with the very nice soft green grass)

anyways, the mouse was so cute!! it was grey and looked like the ones usually in the petshop...good thing it wasn't dirty.. or else i would've been grossed out to pick it up and help it..

hehe i'm happy now : )
