yayyyy i'm all relaxed now :D sort of..

all exams are over!!! yippee!! hehe now let's see wat i thought about them.

FRENCH - as usual ok lah and the teacher went off topic in the oral exam
SCIENCE - why did i even study?!? (except for that question about 'watson-crick'... i said it was mr. Helix who came up with the double helix DNA structure...hmm)
RELIGION - lotssss of time to write...if i didn't force myself to write more, i would've finished in 20 min!
FOODTECH - even more time!! everyone finished an hour early (we got 2 hours) and by the end, the teacher supervising saw how bored we were and let us out 10min early...
FOODTECH PRACTICAL - we cooked everything in the time limit, but cleaning up took like half an hour!!! omg, we probably even washed stuff that wasn't ours!! damn.
HISTORY - ok..

GEOGRAPHY - very vague!
ENGLISH - i won't be surprised if i get 10-15/20 for the interview that i wrote.... somehow it turned out reallly bad.. but for the other one, the essay about 'change/belonging' the usual essay question, i did surprisingly ok (i think) even though that was one of the boring-est book i've ever read in my life.

and the school certificate?? they were wayyyyyyyyyyyyy easier than the yearlies!!!! gah all my stressing out for nothing : (! and especially the ICT (computer skills) exam... some of the questions are sooooooo weird/stupid/duh eg. " 'sciencecommunication' after the cursor was placed here like this: (imagine the "/" is where the cursor is) 'science/communication' what should be pressed to separate these words?
(a) tab
(b) backspace
(c) delete
(d) spacebar
yep.

the report's supposed to be done already, so i dunno why we're getting another english task!! we hv to make a picture book on the computer.. and usually i would be excited as i like making stories and looking at pictures... but i can't think of anything!! and the next comp lesson is on tuesday, so better think of something before then.

and on the school bill, there is $15 for this picture book that i don't think we're even supposed to get.... hmm oh, and on a happier note, we're going to luna park for the yr 10 community day on the last day of 'classes' yay!! hehehe we finish school before the other grades hehehe :D

and other things i'm excited about.... getting books! hahahah as usual... cos i got a 50% off children's book at borders and i hv a list of books that i wanna find : ) and i wanna go to the bondi bookstore that has classic/old books that are all 40% off cos they're moving stores heheheh i like discounts
MYER is also having their christmas sale on tuesday the 21st (the day we were supposed to go to japan :"( - i even drew "JAPAN" with the sun and all in my school planner, but den i had to stick a notepad next to it saying "boo.. cancelled.." - yea anyways) and the books in myer are 40% off too!! hehehe
and i'm thinking whether i should get the hana to yume with the last fruits basket chapter... cos it has these cards with furuba characters on it.. but den it'll spoil the ending for me... hmmm i'll be really pissed off if the curse didn't get lifted and tohru doesn't end up with kyo!

yea anyways. this is a long post.
btw, read this, i found it on the national geographic website, it's so cute!! about penguins who get lazy in captivity, cos they get fed and don't hv to hunt, so they just waddle on the rocks all the time and end up getting calluses on their feet, so they hv to wear blue socks!!! so cute!!

November 15, 2006—They might not be suede, but these blue shoes are a perfect fit for "Elvis."

The newly shod bird, seen here, is one of 18 "second chance" little penguins now living at the International Antarctic Centre in Christchurch, New Zealand. The penguins, also called blue or fairy penguins, were adopted from Marineland in Napier, New Zealand, which rescues sick or injured marine animals and sends some of those that can't return to the wild to live at regional animal centers.

But not long after their September arrival in Christchurch, a few penguins started to develop calluses on their feet that could have led to infections. Such calluses are common for penguins in captivity, because the seabirds, which normally spend most of their time fishing at sea, occasionally get lazy and spend too much time waddling on land.

"When the penguins arrived … some developed sore feet, and this has proved quite tricky for us to treat," International Antarctic Centre director Richard Benton said in a press release.

So the center's staff began a rigorous treatment regime, including saltwater foot baths, ointment applications, and fashion footwear design. The special penguin shoes—available in blue and green—are tailored specifically for the little penguins and are made of breathable material with light rubber soles.

"We have seen a dramatic improvement," Benton said, "and [we] expect that they will only be wearing their pretty shoes for a very short time."
