liz came today for my piano lesson, and she saw biscotti today!! and she was for some reason very plump and her tummy sticking out today, even though i haven't fed her yet...and i felt so happy when liz said that biscotti was "gorgeous!!" etc etc awww i'm a proud mummy : )

btw, this is what i mean when she's sitting with her legs "tucked in" like a pigeon or a rabbit sitting.
i won't post garfield comics today so you can focus on the cuteness of cotti :D

last night the electricity went so weird!!! got home from first day back at school, and was ready to watch my series on the net - got food/orange juice ready - and 3 minutes into the episode, the computer restarted by itself!! turned out the other comp shut down as well, so i turned it back on, and the same thing happened another 3 times!! it was a bit freaky though, cos on the way between the two rooms, the light in the corridor was blinking, and den suddenly everything switched off - all the lights - and since it was already dark outside at 6pm, it was really scary!! and wen the light turned back on, the answering machine voice spoke, so got a heart shock.
anyways, the light, tv, appliances, phone, kept on turning on and off for another 30/40 min, but when tnt linda and steffi came, it decided to fix itself, so i couldn't show them anything...
it was really scary!! home alone.... no torch...couldn't go anywhere when the house went pitch black cos there's not street lights on my street...
and whenever a plane flew over the house, it'll go off again, and one time, it shut off at the same time i heard a car alarm in the street (so got to do with something in the air i suppose?)
so bored without tv, comp, and limited amount of light...
same thing happened this morning once more, and the washing machine suddenly stopped! but turned back on again... and wen i came home from school, happened again at the same time as yesterday.. around 5-6 pm.
so annoying! cos i was cleaning the gp - felt sorry for them, cos i was too lazy to feed them yesterday, and their bowls were empty - but since they were in the garage...and it was already sunset, the light went off and on repeatedly!! so few minutes i'm cleaning their cage normally, next minute i can't see anything so forced to stand stupidly doing nothing holding a bunch of newspaper. and was so shocked when i went to get some newspaper when suddenly this white stuff appeared from the shelf in the garage, but it turned out to be biscotti who has decided that she likes to sleep in the top shelf where i've never seen her before... gila kaget man...
thank god for thomas edison! there's not much that u can do without electricity i just realised, and it was weird showering, when you know you might suddenly be in darkness (but thank god it didn't while i was in the shower) but just in case, i brought my keys, phone, wallet, candles and matches to the bathroom hahaha yes...
i called the energy australia number, and got this girl who was soooo rude!! i explained to her how the power kept on switching on and off by itself, and she kept on cutting me off, saying how "yes, there were power failures last night" and i said, but no other houses in the street got affected, and she asked "do you know everyone in your neighbourhood??" well duh, no, but i know my neighbours!!!! smartass hope you get fired and she kept on wanting to end the convo, as if i was making up my scenario, yes, because my favourite past-time is to call electricity people and ramble on to a complete stranger on the phone. and she even got the nerve to tell me to call again when the electricity problems actually happen (um, if it happened already wouldn't it be too late!!!?!?!?!) haiyah turned into a complaint post again..
but called a second time and luckily a nicer guy picked up, and actually put an effort to help me! so they're going to come 4-8pm tomorrow, and we don't have to pay if it's the company's fault.

thought that today was the rubbish day, so spent last night thinking of what to do cos don't want to go out in pitch black to take the bins out, and decided to set the alarm at 6 so that i'll be able to do it in the morning..
so the alarm went at 6, then my phone alarm went 15 minutes after that, so i had to get up. got the rubbish bag, put it into the bin, then about to open the side gate, and noticed that there aren't any bins infront of the neighbours' houses! then realised that today is monday, not tuesday - the actual rubbish pick up day!!
(tomorrow is school!! :"( haven't done any of my homework!!)
there's gonna be a nodame drama special in january 2008!! apparently they're going to have two consecutive episodes showing the paris arc of the story!! *waaaaaaaaa so excited!!!* but in 2008 :"( can't wait that long!!
and nodame cantabile volume 17 is #1 on the bestselling comics of the first half of 2007!!
(haven't been blogging cos i watched yakitate on the laptop, and staring at it too close - was still in bed after just woken up - and after that my eyes felt weird, couldn't focus on far away things.... got paranoid and didn't play comp all of yesterday! but still managed to play my ds hahahaha)
got scrabble today :D it was on sale in big w only $23.88! hoho!
and the john mayer piano book is on back order, but reserved already! can't wait!

Hahaha such an early entry ei! Woken up cos of the rain, but den wondered why the rain was making a “tok toktok” sound bashing against the window…so looked out and turned out it’s hailing!! It was actually cute seeing hail ‘balls’ jumping on the grass, sorta like ticks on a dog! (good comparison yep) Went out to make sure every window/door is closed, then as usual got a camera :D hahahahah wat de.
It only lasted a couple minutes, but there was enough so the grass was kinda covered, and there was a pile near the side of the backyard near the garage.

proposal daisakusen – the comp suddenly died when I only had another 7 minutes to watch, so I’m waiting till cc oni bring the dvd from indo, cos I’m not downloading it again (yes I stream it online)
btw, for those who watch it and know what i'm talking about, don't u wonder why ken doesn't get tired even though he's full on running every episode, and technically he's doing it all in one day only (cos he's still at the wedding)
liar game – waiting for the 3 hour finale to be subbed
hana kimi – actually different from the manga…more… dramatic? Was sano that annoying in the beginning I wonder. But the guy who plays nakatsu is so kakkoi! Hahahahahha . . . and I actually like horikita maki playing mizuki, cos she really does look like a guy with the short hair. A scene that I found really funny was when she was talking to sano, and then sano says something in the lines of ‘i’m not gay’ and then puzzled mizuki realises that she’s been standing with knees together like a girl while talking to him, instead of the legs apart like guys are supposed to do hahahahah.
I was so desperate to watch it I actually went on dailymotion.com and watched the version with the French subtitles! Turns out my French at school is very useful, I could actually understand what they were saying! But I’m not gonna read the French subtitles for liar game and proposal daisakusen, cos their dialogue has analysing stuff, so won’t even bother to try. And sadly…I know for sure sure that my jap is crap :”( cos I can only pick out singular words from their dialogue, but not what the phrases actually mean.

hehe my appointment was at 11:30, and was so paranoid that they won't let me do it cos i was late, since queue took ages!
the test was exactly like the demo one on the website! so zoomed through it :D (the voice on the headphone was sooo loud and annoying... i could still hear it even after i took it off and put it on the table).
anyways, when it was time to take the photo, i sat on the chair, and looked at the camera..but there was no countdown or anything so i smiled, and den after a while looked at the person, den looked at the camera again... looked around... waiting for the "one, two, three smile!" but then, i heard "all done." *heeeh!?* noooooooooo and i actually washed my hair this morning and made it all neat :"(
when they gave me the card, i was sorta looking down and not smiling!!! no~ it looks exactly like my crappy library card picture :"( *tear tear*

went home, and found magazines in the mailbox! hehe it was shop til u drop and the first issue of my newly subscribed national geographic magazine!!!!!!!! yippeee~ it came in this nice and scientific-looking paper bag hahaha wat de.. but wat if it rained...o_o..
so, i'll tell u what's in it: (btw, the cover was a giant mosquito looking all fluoro, and the issue's feature was on malaria. nice huh.)- short article about scientist able to regenerate a chicken wing which they chopped off

on another topic... i want john mayer's continuum album piano book!!! it's $37.95 though : ( and not in stock an Allan's Music last time i checked... but when i went on their website yesterday, they had it!! so gonna ask them next time i go.
stupid (and not tasty) thing that happened. koki made avocado shake thing, and he put the usual chocolate stuff on top, and gave it to me, but turned out he put cocoa instead of chocolate, so it was sooooo bitter!!! and he put ice cubes in it too, so not only was it not sweet, it was really dilute as well!! haiyah so gross.... and the last time that he made it, i was the one who put the chocolate on top, and he said that it'll be nicer if i put more choc on top, SO, he piled the bitter cocoa powder on top, and after i mixed it in to the shake, it turned brown.
hmmm... kinda like last time when he put corn flour on muffins instead of icing sugar.
anyways, here's the nice and new and soft t-shirt i got :D

from march this year. hahaha odie is so cute!
well duh! but just thought i'd mention it.
i felt so independent today..made a shopping list and went to coles by myself, den cooked the 'vegetable surprise' recipe which i first made in year 7 food tech class.
i was gonna make two recipes, but when i was grating the first zucchini, the pile was already so high, so just made one recipe. and because of the extra grated carrots...the guinea pigs had a treat of grated carrot without skin! (as in the carrot was peeled)
baked it for the time stated: 25-30 minutes, but after cooking for 32 minutes and digging into it excitedly... it was still really gooey and undercooked-looking... so put in for another 8 minutes, but still a bit soft... but i stuck a skewer in and it came out clean, so should be ok!
cleaned the gp after (at 6pm), and i fed biscotti in the garage, but while she was eating, she kept on stopping and turning around to look at something... bit freaky..... so i ended up looking over my shoulder towards the car to check... u kno, how animals can sense stuff... eeeeppp(!).
there was also this cockroach near koshi's house, and i thought it was dead, cos its antennae wasn't moving, so i didn't try and squish it, but den it disappeared! turned out it was dying already, cos i stomped my foot next to it, and dragged biscotti near it, but it didn't run away. and biscotti only sniffed at it and walked away -____-"

and why u say that the first pet i ever got is last on the list? well, because koshi can't stop marking everything with his butt! when i take the old layers of newspaper off and he's standing on the cage bottom, he straight away wipes his butt on the cage floor, den everytime i put new newspaper in, he straightaway scents again!! ihhh so disgusting...and he pees a lot.... and since the cage has holes on the bottom, it seeps through and i have to soak it with 5 paper towels... cos that's how many you need to soak all the liquid.
gonna take the 'driver's knowledge test' tomorrow at the RTA, booked in for 11:30am. everyone was rushing to get their L's before june 30th cos if not they have to drive 120 hours, instead of the usual 50-something... but since i didn't bother booking, couldn't get it loh!
i actually went there after school one day, and after getting a number and lining up, ended up getting this indian guy who was in a really pissy mood!! ya i kno, probably cos he had people like me all day asking the same question of: "i haven't booked, but can i still take the test?" but still!! i haven't even finished saying, "is there anyway i can do it today" and he cut me off with "-NO."
and den he gives me the application form (which i already got, and so i say, "got one already") and he underlines the number for the RTA twice to make sure i call it. and den i asked, "do you know when the next available booki-" and he cuts me off again!! "-NO." GOSH! and he says, "call this number" and i tried to finish my question, but he says "call this number" again.... but isn't 'this number' the RTA anyways?? and since you're the guy working for the RTA, shouldn't you know?!?! haiyah, piss me off man..
but den ate at panda afterwards, so forgot about him.
ladidadida i walked through a new street in the city yesterday hehee, it was on the way from daniang dumpling place to the church next to QVB, and found a really nice shop!! (forgot wat it's called, but the clothing tag said "intermission") went in cos koki wanted to find a jacket, and it turned out to have really cute, not too girly, not too norak girl clothes! hehehe and got a new t-shirt!! the place had lots of cute knits, vests (not the gayish denim ones), tanks, shirts etc and got cool jewellery - as in REALLY cool, not those *try so hard to look gangster* cool-. the t-shirt i got had a yoshitomo nara print on it!! hehe and as usual, took a pic, but since the pic is in koki's external harddrive, and he took it somewhere, can't post it now :*( but i'll show u later :D

THE GRAND OPENING OF THE BIG W PET CENTRE!!
stuck to my plan and went to Eastgardens at 9am!! i actually didn't mind waking up so early cos i know i'm gonna get some nice animal-related freebies ^____________^
so. turned out that the pet centre replaced the garden/plants area! and so, the pet section was REALLY big!! hehehe was sooo excited!! the left section was for the birds and dogs, and on the right was the cats and little animals section!! and there was plenty of hay (i noticed that the quality of the hay changed - again- it was more leafy....which means.... easier to run out :"( ). anyhoo. got cat food and hay, and after paying at the cashier, got the purina goodie bag!! it's like the coles enviro bag and it looked like this: (double sided)

anyhoo. the contents are really good value!! (it's supposedly worth over $20!) and here it is chacha!:
a nice flowery dog collar. fancy feast cat food. motor mouse toy. dog 'fresh breath chews'.
since i don't have a dog, the collar and the chew are going to cc yeni; but the cat food - prime chicken fillet flavour- i have to say is a better quality can food than dine! i gave it to biscotti for her breakfast, and it smelt so much like real human food, i actually went *yumm...* and the mouse toy has this string on its tail which u pull and let go to make it 'run'!! it's soo cute!! here's a close up of its kawaii face :D

i thought biscotti was gonna be all weird and be scared of it (like how she's scared of balls of a certain size) but she wasn't!! and so to capture the cuteness, had a photo frenzy again! but i'll just put three here, hehe

and, since biscotti's really likes string, she keeps on pulling the string on the mouse with her teeth, and den after she stops pulling, it'll go *dddrrrrrrr* while she's holding the mouse in her paws. so cute!!
also, as usual, after a while, she gets bored of it, so i put the mouse on her head, but she doesn't realise it's there, so she's just sitting, with a mouse on her head hahahaha it's quite funny...not really though if u don't see it...
such a long post already, and only talked about free stuff. lalalalala. i shall finish with a pic of the owner of the camera which i used to take the photos.
