bio excursion and jap dramas

so. the biology excursion!!
went to long reef rock platform which took around 50 minutes from school. basically, we went to the rock platforms there and looked at the animals that were there. the first half was ok, cos we only saw the shelled animals, but there was those mini anemone things that close up when you touch them. we also tested the temperature, pH and salinity of the air and the ocean and rockpool water.
the second half was way better though! we did a 'catch and release' thing, so we had to find an animal and then draw a diagram and fill in some info about them. our group did it on a 'nudibranch seaslug' which doesn't sound that exciting, but it was this lemon yellow-white coloured slug with these wavy things on its back and it even had 'tentacles' that looked like a horn. yas found this 'sea hare' which was a HUMONGOUS slug which had a length of about 1.5 of my hand!!! it felt so gross and weird.....
there were also a crab and sea urchins, and it was the first time that i actually held the urchin it in my palm and felt it 'moving' with its spikes..
the excursion was really good and not pointless at all, but when we had to walk back from the first place to have lunch, it took like 20 minutes!! in the hot sun balancing on rocks. our shoes basically turned to sand.

jap dramas that i'm watching now:
dare yorimo mama wo ai su
told from the point of view of 11 year old 'kaoru' who thinks his family is really weird, cos his mom's a lawyer and his dad's a stay at home dad. the brother is a hairdresser and is like the big sister of the family, and the sister is rough like the big brother of the family..
the story's pretty simple, but the way it's told and the way the dad's character is portrayed is really interesting.
oya, and the dad is so much like a housewife!! and their neighbour is this weird black-wearing lady who's really messy and creepy looking.
hana yori dango 2 (no good photo found) - i want makino and domyoji together!!!! who cares about rui.

hehe just watched the video of "einstein" the smart grey parrot that appeared on animal planet's "pet star" ^__^ was he the parrot that can understand the meaning of "zero"..... i think so...
